Dead and Company is a rock n’ roll supergroup consisting of former members of the legendary band, The Grateful Dead. The Grateful Dead members in Dead & Company consists of Bob Weir, Mickey Hart and Bill Kreutzman, while other non-Grateful Dead members consists of john Mayer, Oteil Burbridge and Jeff Chimenti. Dead and Company was formed in 2015 after John Mayer started working with Bob Weir for a performance, which then lead to them recruiting other former Grateful Dead members as well as other musicians.
Not long after forming Dead and Company began touring, starting with their first concert at Madison Square Garden in 2015, and a full tour coming after that. In 2016 Dead and Company continued to tour, playing their first festival performance at Bonnaroo and other shows across North America. While no official recordings of the band have been released, they have released recordings of all concerts of their 2016 tour.
